some innovative measures to save rain water

Some Innovative Measures To Save Rain Water

Innovative Measures Rain Water Harvesting
It is important for us to save rainwater
We have always heard “Water is life”.
It is difficult to imagine life without water.

Water is required to perform all the functions        of  life.
How to save water
Poet and Sant Rahim Das had told the importance of water centuries ago, but even today we are not serious about water conservation.
Rahim water rashes, without water everything is lost. Water is not boring, Moti Manush Choon.

As the heat is rising, the water problem in many parts of the country is taking a formidable form.

Every year this problem increases more than before.

Many places like Latur are becoming very frightening due to lack of water.

we always think that just as soon as the summer season is removed,

The problem of water will go away as soon as the rain comes, and keep on thinking about water conservation.

Today water conservation has become very important for mankind.

If we still do not get serious about water conservation, then it will be proved right that-
The third world war will be for water.

Water Resources
Water resources are sources of water that are useful to mankind or are likely to be used.
Around three-quarters of the Earth is surrounded by water in the whole world, but 97% of this water is saline which is not potable,
The amount of potable water is only 3%. Of this, 2% of water is in the form of glacier and ice. Thus only 1% of water is available for human use in the true sense.
We can divide the sources of water into three parts –
    1. Water received from above the surface – It is rainwater which is pure but due to lack of vigilance, there is a fear of dissolving many types of impurities in it.

  2. Surface water – River, pond, lake, waterfall, etc. are types of surface water.

   3. Inland water – raw and ripened wells, stepwells, boring, etc.

Why is water conservation needed?
Due to population growth, urbanization, and industrialization,
The amount of available drinking water per person is continuously decreasing due to which the pressure on available water resources is increasing.
While on one hand, the demand for water is continuously increasing, on the other hand,
The quality of the water resources used is rapidly decreasing due to pollution and adulteration.
At the same time, the level of groundwater is falling rapidly, to meet the shortage of water in such a situation, there is an urgent need for water conservation.

World Water Day is celebrated on 22 March all over the world.

Its main objective is to make people aware of water conservation. Atal Ji used to say-
If we are not serious about water conservation, then the third world war will be for water.
And now this thing is starting to seem right.
How to conserve and save water, Water conservation should be one of the top priorities of the world today.
We should conserve water at home, outside the house, orchard gardens, field barn everywhere.
some innovative measures to save rainwater

1. How to save water at home
While shaving, brushing, washing dishes in the sink, open the tap only when there is really a need for water.
Use bucket and mug instead of the pipe when washing the car, this saves a lot of water.
Use bucket and mug instead of the shower while bathing will save considerable water.
For this work, you can take inspiration from Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar, who takes only 1 bucket of water.
Instead of washing a few clothes every day in a washing machine, wash only when the clothes are assembled.
Convert high-flow flush tank to low-flow flush tank. If possible, buy a two-button flush tank.
It gives some water after urination and more water after defecation.
Wherever leaks or pipes leak, get them fixed immediately.
A lot of water can be prevented from getting wasted in it.
When washing the dishes, instead of keeping the faucet continuously open, if enough water is worked in the bucket, then a lot of water can be saved.

2. outdoor water conservation

In public parks, streets, neighborhoods, hospitals, schools, etc.
Wherever the tap faucets are bad or water is leaking from the pipes, immediately inform the water supply office or the person concerned.
wastage of thousands of liters of water can be stopped.
Garden Watering can be saved significantly by watering water cans rather than watering pipes in plants around gardens and houses

Garden gardens should be watered at night instead of a day. This causes evaporation of water.
The adoption of low-cost modern techniques for agriculture for the irrigation sector is useful for water conservation.

3. Tree Plantation / Plantation

Trees are our integral friends. They provide us shade, fruits, wood, prevent soil erosion, protect from floods.
Where there are more trees, there is a good rain, due to which the river drains are filled in the rain and there is no shortage of water.
Therefore, Water conservation law In many areas, draining the water without containment causes a drastic drop in groundwater levels.
For this, it is necessary to follow the ground management rules of distribution.

At the same time, there is a need to enact new laws that treat any type of water waste as an illegal act and make a provision to punish and punish those who do so.

4. Water conservation law

In many areas, draining the water without containment causes a drastic drop in groundwater levels.
For this, it is necessary to follow the ground management rules of distribution.
At the same time, there is a need to enact new laws that treat any type of water waste as an illegal act and make a provision to punish and punish those who do so.

5. New technology in the industrial sector

To reduce the need for water, modern technology should be used in industrial areas, factories, etc.

6. Rainwater harvesting

This habit of our people alone can prove to be a milestone for water conservation.
Save rainwater from the roofs after the next rain. It is perfect for drinking, washing, gardening, etc.
For this, rainwater harvesting should be made compulsory in the rules related to building construction in villages and cities and measures should be found to encourage people to collect rainwater.

7. Water awareness program

Continuous awareness programs should be carried out continuously to prevent wastage of water, rainwater harvesting, frequent tree plantation, and to save water from pollution and we should all try this together.

8. Install water overflow alarm

Bursts of water falling from rooftops are a common sight.
We have to stop this and the simplest solution for this is to connect your tank to a water overflow alarm. We will talk about this in the next post in detail.

9. Put sand-pebbles in the water bottle inside the flush

Normally the flush gets more water than you need, so if you put a bottle of sand and pebbles in a 1-liter bottle.
you can save 1 liter of water on each flush, and save thousands of liters of water throughout the year Can.
Also, note that the flush is not getting leaked because the flush is not fully lifted.
Many times the entire tank is emptied overnight for this reason.

10. Treat Water Supply Water as Your Water

People who are lucky also get water supply water from the government.
It has been observed that often people waste almost a lot of water to get it for free
They leave it in the bed (even during the rainy season), forget to put it in their cooler to fill the water or Put it in the washing machine and leave it.
since it comes from time to time, many times people leave the crates open and get busy with the rest of the work and when it is time to get, the water just keeps falling.
Due to this negligence, they waste hundreds of liters of water in a single day.
On the other hand, they are very aware of the water-filled in their tanks.
If you are also involved in such people, please stop doing so. Water is water,
you should not distinguish between the government and yourself.

11. Take as much water as you want to drink

When you drink 1 glass of RO water, keep in mind that 3 glass of water is wasted in the process of filtering it.
So whenever you take RO water in a glass, instead of taking it fully, take as much as you want to drink.
if you want to give it to someone, instead of filling it with water, you can give a glass with a jug or water bottle.
In this way, a lot of water can be saved.
If you go to a restaurant, the waiter first brings water, even when you don’t need it!
when you go to such a place, take water only when you really need it.

12. Use wastewater from RO machine or AC

75% of the total water collected by the RO machine is waste.
Therefore, try to collect the water that is coming out of the pipe for the machine in a bucket, or to make the plant watering by lengthening the pipe.
Similarly, the water released from AC can also be used correctly.

13. Use Hand-Pump

In earlier times people used hand pumps only. Due to this reason, the waste of water was very less, which used to remove as much water as it used to.
Over time, people started filling the motor with water and forgot the hand pump.
If you do not have a hand pump installed then there is no problem, but if it is installed and lying idle, then fix it and use it occasionally.
It would be good if we intentionally use water only one day a week and drain the water. By doing this, at least one day we will extract only what we really need.

14. Wash vegetables and fruits in a vessel

Many times people wash vegetables and fruits with running water,

If instead, you wash vegetables by filling water in a big fugitive or utensil, then the water will also take less and they will be able to be cleaned properly.

15. Reduce Wash-basin Flow

Under the washbasin there is also a basket to control the water, often it is completely open,

if you rotate it a little, then the flow of water will be reduced automatically and a lot of water will be saved from going waste.

16. Keep half a bucket in the bathroom

Often, the water of the tank gets very hot during the summer days and people spill some water first while bathing that after that cold water starts coming.
If you have to do this, instead of pouring water, keep it in a bucket. And it would be better

if you fill the buckets with water in the morning so that you can get cold water while taking bath.

And we Indians and peoples All over the world have to understand the same thing.

Waste of water affects not only the person who is going to waste it but the whole society.

If your neighbor wastes water then your water level is also low… so do not waste or waste this precious resource.

Let’s save water, “because if there is water there will be tomorrow”
